This offer is for real and open to all equally. If you choose not to make use if it and others do I cannot say that I will feel responsible if it costs you, after all I am playing a Privateer. I do promise however that I will and do look at the impact of my choices on the game as a whole and so I will try not interfere with other major aspects of the game such as the FGZ war! I want RIP to become part of the fun in the game (sounds daft but it seems many like the threat we pose). I want to increase the fun we RIP can have but also I want others to feel we are more than a bunch of bullies and cheaters.....Only time will tell if this will be the case but I sorely hope this can be the case!

* THE ROCK OF FORTUNE (A joke by Bent Nielsen (WMB)) *

The following happened this week at a Wimble colony:
Three aliens met at a restaurant complex in a Wimble colony; one was a Flagritz Soldier, another was a Hive Worker and finally there was a Wimble Colonist. While bragging about things they had accomplished throughout their lives the Flagritz Soldier suddenly said "You can say what you want but I have the most confirmed kills in the peripheries. Beat that!!".

"Hmmm.." said the Hive Worker, "Perhaps, but I am the strongest creature in the peripheries I can drag a Cygnet across the surface of a planet!!".

After a long while of thinking the Wimble Colonist finally said "Perhaps, but I am the most ugly creature the peripheries has ever seen!!". Both the Hive Worker and the Flagritz Soldier looked at the Wimble and the Hive Worker then said "Could be but let us visit 'The Rock Of Fortune' it has all the knowledge of known space and it can tell us the truth and nothing but the truth.".

So the three of them went on a trip to 'The Rock Of Fortune' at the outer edge of known space. The rock of fortune was hidden in a small den on a small moon and only one person was allowed into the den at a time.
The Flagritz Soldier was the first to enter the den. After a little while he came out and quickly stated "What did I tell you, I have the most confirmed kills in the peripheries. HA!".

Then the Hive Worker entered the den. After a short while he too came out with his antenna raised high "HAHA! What did I tell you two morons, I am the strongest creature in the peripheries.".

Then the Wimble Colonist entered the den. After a while the Wimble Colonist too came out but surely something was wrong as he was shaking his head in disbelieve. Then he finally said "I don't undertand it!! Who the hell is Admiral Lord Simms??"... :)

Ground Battle Between CIA and IMP Forces

An IMP patrol sent out to check what had happened to one of their massive mining operations was ambushed and wiped out by the CIA forces waiting for them in the rubble of their former outpost. So much material was destroyed at this site that our forces were able to heavily fortify the area with the rubble and took no casulties. Not a single shot was fired by the IMP forces who were unfortunately blown to bits before they could surrender. CIA suggests approaching this position with white flags at the ready next time.

The Wimble colony of Free Haven would like to offer the following deal to anyone interested:

To get luxuries sales started in Yank we would like offer to convert your Food and Power into Luxury Foodstuffs, or Consumer Goods and Power into Luxury Goods. We will keep 20% of the luxuries converted as payment and you can take 80% back to your colony. So for ever 100 MU Food plus 100 MU Power you deliver at Free Haven you can bring back 80 MU Luxury Foodstuffs. Or for ever 100 MU Consumer Goods plus 100 Power you deliver you can bring back 80 MU Luxury Goods.

It should be noted that we accept any power producing ore as Power, except Waste. So it may be more convenient to bring Fissionables or Pulac Crystals. Also, until we have a stockpile of luxuries you may have to wait one week to get your luxuries. Later we will be able to offer an immediate PA before the delivery of your food and power.

The colony of Free Haven (3984) is located on the planet LUNK, space square 2951, in Yank(146). The colony does NOT yet have a hiport but we are working on that. The offer is open to all affiliations and individuals and the offer will stand until stardate 10.199 where we will review the situation.
